One record. Yours to keep.
Organize your military medical record while you still have time to request missing documentation. Walk into separation with one complete file — yours to keep, share, or hand to a VA-accredited representative.
A records platform built around the BDD window.
Most veterans walk into separation without a complete copy of their own service treatment record. Dustoff is a software + education platform that helps you surface, organize, and review what's already documented in your file — so you walk into separation prepared.
Built for the BDD Window
Dustoff is a records platform built around the 180-to-90-day separation window — the time period when STRs can still be requested, corrected, and completed through MHS Genesis.
Medical Record Organization
Dustoff helps you organize and review your medical record, surfacing diagnoses, encounters, and supporting documentation already inside your STRs that you may want to discuss with a VA-accredited representative.
Education on the BDD Process
Step-by-step educational content on how the BDD program works, what 38 CFR says about your conditions, and how to read your own service treatment record — so you can have informed conversations with a VA-accredited representative.
A Records Packet You Own
Dustoff produces an organized, downloadable copy of your own medical record. Yours to keep, share, or hand to a VA-accredited representative or attorney of your choosing.
A Complete Personal Record
From service-connected injuries to PACT Act–era exposure documentation to mental-health encounters — Dustoff organizes the documentation already in your file into one personal record.
Time-Sensitive Documentation
Most veterans walk into separation without a complete copy of their own service treatment record. Use the BDD window to request, correct, and consolidate before you out-process.
2025 VA Disability Compensation Rates
The 38 CFR § 4 schedule of compensation ratings is public-record information. We include it here as educational reference. Dustoff does not estimate, predict, or guarantee any specific rating outcome.
All VA disability compensation is 100% tax-free — federal and state. Rates increase annually with COLA adjustments. Dependent increases begin at 30%. Special Monthly Compensation (SMC) provides additional amounts for severe disabilities.
Rating decisions are made solely by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs based on evidence submitted by the veteran and their accredited representative. Dustoff is a medical records platform — we do not file claims, do not predict ratings, and are not VA-accredited.
Presumptive Conditions
The VA recognizes certain conditions as presumptively service-connected based on where and when you served. This is educational reference — speak with a VA-accredited representative about how it applies to your record.
PACT Act / Burn Pit Exposure
Covers service in SW Asia, Africa, and other locations post-9/11. No nexus letter required for many conditions.
Gulf War Presumptives
For veterans who served in the Southwest Asia theater of operations. Must manifest to 10% or more.
Radiation / Camp Lejeune
Camp Lejeune water contamination (1953-1987) and radiation-exposed veterans have specific presumptive lists.
Agent Orange / Herbicide
Vietnam-era, Thailand, and other herbicide-exposed locations. Expanded under PACT Act.
Dustoff cross-references your service history against current presumptive lists and organizes related documentation for your personal records.
Six Steps to a Complete Record
From upload to a complete personal records packet. Every step guided.
Branch, MOS, duty stations, service dates — 5 minutes to set up.

AI surfaces diagnoses and encounters already in your records — including conditions you may have forgotten or want to discuss with a VA-accredited representative.
Toxic exposures, hazardous equipment, training injuries — cross-referenced with your MOS so related documentation gets added to your file.
Dustoff helps you compile a 38 CFR–referenced records packet from documentation already in your file, plus buddy-statement templates you can complete yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Benefits Delivery at Discharge (BDD) is a VA program that lets active-duty service members file a disability claim 180-90 days before separation. The pre-separation window is when records can still be requested, corrected, and consolidated — which is why it's the right time to organize your medical record.
